This is all I have for now, but as you can see there is a lot of "composition". The reason being if you don't place everything in the correct place for the viewer, everything can go wrong very quickly. That is why composition is in every single area of study. If you create an excellent photo-realistic indoor architecture scene, but your textures are not composed correctly, you will in fact, ruin the entire scene. The same can go for the concepts. If you do not create the correct composition in your concept, it will certainly show when you create a model from that concept.
Overall, I wanted to point out everything that comes into play when working with 3D art. While you do not have to cover all of these areas yourself, I've found that at least learning about each one will give a much better insight as to how every one interacts, and compliments each other in the end.
